7:15 am: definitely still some swell out there this Sunday morning with the wave height in the thigh to waist high+ range or so. Very choppy and mixed up conditions out there early today, stronger side-onshore winds are knocking the surf down a bit.. On our local buoy the early morning wave height reading of 6.6 feet at 10 seconds, up from yesterdays 5.9 feet at 6 seconds. The marine forecast calling for increasing onshore/side-onshore winds through the afternoon. The water temperature is measured at 72.9 degrees at The Pier this morning. And you can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

1:45 pm: New afternoon photos are up and posted in box #2 and you can see the waves are bigger than first reported. Some size and power! The photos were taken at THE DREDGE and the way the wave comes in it pitches out and dumps on that man made inside sandbar. Some toob rides and at least one sequence of a tube ride. Not the normal mushy Florida wave.
