6:55 am:   It’s cooler at the beach this morning.    Colder and smaller surf.   Waves 6 inches to… not even a full 1 foot.  The swell direction is still N  with angled super small N swell peaks.       The wind is very chilly NW @ 6-12 knots.        The marine forecast is calling for increasing cold NW winds today.     Our local buoy is currently reading 3.9 feet at 5 seconds down from yesterdays  6.9 feet at 6 seconds .    The water temperature is measured at 72.9 degrees early this morning.  You can see the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.

Strong cold fronts will periodically push through Florida, scouring out tropical moisture in the Caribbean Sea in November as the 2024 hurricane season comes to a close. Cold fronts and coastal lows will determine our wind, waves and water temps. The unseasonably cold (January-like!) weather this week will drop surf temps and ;ead to the longest (in several months) small to flat spell next week leading up to Thanksgiving Day.
