Noon: It’s looking pretty small out there for your midday, but the weather is holding so far for today’s Hugh Shaw Memorial Contest. The waves are looking to be in the half a foot to one foot range, with just fair form. It’s not quite as clean as it was earlier today, with our local winds currently blowing out of the E @ 9 knots. Our local buoy is currently reading 1.3 feet @ 9 seconds, making for that small scale surf in the shin to maybe knee high range. Conditions are pretty tough for a contest, but our Flagler alumni are making it work.
